Street smart finance was founded by two passionate 11th grade students from Hill Spring International School embarking on a journey to make finance accessible for everyone.

Our website is dedicated to helping younger kids and beginners, especially those who have never studied finance before, understand essential concepts that will prepare them for the real world.

We believe that financial literacy is crucial, not just for passing exams, but for making smart life decisions. From budgeting to investing, we aim to break down complex topics into simple, relatable ideas that anyone can apply. Through easy-to-understand resources, tips, and guides, our goal is to empower the next generation with the knowledge and confidence to take control of their finances.

Our Story

Growing up in India’s financial capital, Mumbai surrounded us by talks about money, finance and banking. Whilst sitting in an AS level economics lesson, we realised that even though our city is thriving because of finance, there is a massive gap when it comes to the financial literacy of its youth. Everyday, students go to class and learn about business and finance, but often do not realise the real-world application of these lessons that are not included. This leaves us with question: what to really do with our money? These thoughts began as our teacher spoke about India and the importance of gold in our economy and why families across generations have trusted it as a store of value. It made us question how young people today can make smarter choices with their savings, investments, and spending, beyond simply relying on tradition. That moment sparked the idea of creating a platform where financial knowledge meets everyday life.

I founded Street Smart Finance with the vision of making financial literacy more accessible to young people. I believe that money management is not just about numbers but about building confidence and independence for the future. With a passion for simplifying complex financial ideas, I am dedicated to helping young learners and earners gain the practical knowledge they need to make smart financial decisions in everyday life.

I founded Street Smart Finance to help young learners and earners like myself build a strong foundation in financial literacy. While growing up, I realised how important it is to understand money early how to save, spend, and invest wisely but also how little of it is taught in a simple and practical way. Through this platform, I want to share easy to grasp lessons and real-world insights that can make finance less intimidating and more empowering for the next generation.
